MFK (Multi-Function Knob) Press Behavior

Selects the button-press behavior assigned to the Multi-Function Knob (MFK); see also Short Keypress Duration for MFK and MFK Inactivity Timeout. This selection applies to Conventional and Trunking communications mode.

WFForward.png Once selected, the Multi-Function Knob Selections define the Primary function and (if applicable) the Secondary function.

When the "MFK Emergency Access" Extended Feature appears in the Extended Feature Name field.

These selections are model / option dependent on a per radio basis, and apply to Conventional and Trunking communications modes.

DEFINITIONS:

Rotary Feature Select

Pressing the MFK toggles between the Primary and Secondary rotary functions defined by the Multi-Function Knob Selections.

Emergency

Pressing the MFK triggers Emergency Mode.

DotYellow.png With this selection, the Secondary rotary function of the Multi-Function Knob Selections is unavailable, and any selection for the Primary rotary function (including Blank) is considered valid.

DotGreen.png With this selection, the "MFK Emergency Access" Extended Feature is "Used in Codeplug" = "Yes".
